Easter Greets Me at my Door
Posted on: 15/04/2025
An Easter treat greets me at my door,
A wreath of joy and so much more—
With ivy green and blossoms bright,
And a bunny who brought sheer delight!
Then in the lounge, a lovely scene,
With yellow blooms and pastel sheen.
Eggs hung high on branches bare,
While mossy bunnies guarded there.
A candy jar with bunny ears,
Held orange sweets that brought good cheers—
Like carrots in a glassy crown,
A tasty welcome from London Town.
And lastly, what a perfect end,
A cushion like a cozy friend.
Three bunny backs, all soft and sweet,
Where I could rest my weary feet.
After trains and crowds and London’s pace,
I find such peace in my own place.
What a welcome home from my adoring wife,
With Easter joy and her love for life.
