A Day at the Vet School – Mewes Vets Delight
The sun shone bright on Peacehaven town,
As eager young minds all gathered around.
To Mewes Vets they came, hearts full of cheer,
T’was Vet School Day that drew them near.
At the door, with a wave and a grin,
Toggle the mascot welcomed us in.
A friend with fur, so full of fun,
Who greeted us all, our hearts they won.
Pet First Aid came first on display,
A lifesaving guide in a hands-on way.
Then Dr Julia, with skill so neat,
Showed how to suture a wound complete.
A young visitor helped with confident care,
As curious eyes watched from everywhere.
From rabbits to dogs and clever cats too,
The fact-filled boards taught something new.
We met Nicks the Receptionist, friendly and kind,
With Dylan her Lab, well-mannered and primed.
His coat was black, his soul was gold,
A dog with stories, his owner told.
It was learning, fun, and kindness combined,
With laughter and knowledge sweetly entwined.
A Day to remember, with memories set,
At Mewes Vets in Peacehaven; our best day yet!
