Brick by Brick - A Love Heart made from Lego

A heart of red, so bold, so bright,
A gift of love in perfect light.
With bricks embraced in curves so fine,
A token true—will you be mine?

A ribbon white, so neatly tied,
A bow that holds the love inside.
With flowers placed in hues so sweet,
A gentle touch, a love complete.

The lady to whom I sent this heart,
Knew my Tudor build played a part.
She’d seen the kit upon the site,
And knew this gift had cost me—right?

“For free?” she gasped, “it came with that?”
She laughed aloud and tipped her hat.
“Well,” I told her with a grin,
“You do love a bargain!”—let love begin!
